Looking For Best Man Gifts

By Veronica Jacobi

A wedding is coming up and there are many options for best man gifts. If his personality is distinct, picking out a present will be no sweat. A great friend would love a symbol of the closeness of his relationship or a useful token for one of his hobbies. Personalizing gifts also give a thoughtful touch to express gratitude of the friendship.

Distinct personalities are easy to shop for. An army man would love a dog tag necklace that is personalized by his best friend. An array of signs are available for the man who does not have much hanging on his walls. Personalizing pub signs, vintage signs or sports clocks are easy to do online. Cigar boxes and watch boxes are popular to engrave.

A martini set, personalized coasters or a leather wine carrier are nice if he likes to drink. A host of a good party would love a poker set, liquor dispenser or beer holster to show off to his friends. Groomsmen frames are available for the sentimental guy who would love to remember the wedding.

A pocket watch or compass are more elegant token that are light to carry around. A manicure set, cuff-links or cologne are thoughtful for the man who cares about his image. Some wonderful leather presents include briefcases, business card cases, travel bags, money clips, laptop cases, agenda books, tie cases or garment covers. For an executive, a desk clock, pen holder, fountain pen set, letter opener or marble book ends would be nice touch for the office.

The outdoor-type of man would enjoy the new products that are hitting the market. Cooler chairs are easy to get embroidered and perfect for sitting around the campfire. A fisherman can listen to music that is coming from his beverage cooler. Pocket knives have the option to shine a light in the dark while a flask will also hold his cigarettes. When hiking up the mountains, a cooler bag is convenient and useful.

Some men enjoy experiences rather than things. An adventurous guy would not mind a trip in a hot air balloon or sailing high in a helicopter tour. Lessons are available to learn how to fly airplanes, surf or kayak. An exciting trip to the rodeo would be a unique way to spend an afternoon. A car loving man would love a chance to sit front row to a car race or spend the weekend at a vintage car show.

There are many favors that he would appreciate and are relatively easy to come by. A man would enjoy a bathrobe, beer mug, golf bag, cigar holder, lighter or a pair of boxers. If he coaches the neighborhood little league, perhaps he would enjoy a personalized whistle. If he is stuck in the office all day, he would remember the wedding from his personalized mouse pad. Knowing personalities will help when browsing best man gifts, despite the budget.
